Associate Applications Engineer

Fatigue Technology, a Division of Precision Castparts Corporation, specializing in solving fatigue problems in aerospace structures, is looking for an Associate Applications Engineer. BS degree in either Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 1-2 years experience required. The Applications Engineer will work to adapt FTI technology to provide solutions in actual applications on commercial and military aircraft. This position requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. It also requires ability to multi-task and strong project management skills as this position frequently has several projects open simultaneously. Some travel will be required. Must have mechanical aptitude and be proficient in Word and Excel. Finite Element Analysis, CAD and Aircraft structures experience desirable.

Production Assembler

Mechanically inclined individual needed for long-term assembly position. Must have good hand and eye coordination. Prior experience performing repetitive tasks in a warehouse or machine shop environment is desired. Duties may include capping, coating and assembling of small metal parts. Must be willing to learn hand and power tools, and have ability to follow instructions.

Customer Support

This position is designed to support all of our customers and field sales teams with a primary contact for technical or commercial activity that may arise during the normal course of business. One of the primary objectives of this position is to manage the projects or programs for our customers and outside sales offices. In addition, the candidate will interface with in-house engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing personnel. The candidate must possess strong communication skills as they will be corresponding via telephone, e-mail, letters and in person. The candidate must be comfortable and confident when giving oral presentations and hands-on training to customer groups.

The successful candidate will have:
*  Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*  Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
*  Experience in MS Office.
*  Experience in Project Management software a plus
*  Sound decision-making skills.
*  AA Degree in Engineering or Business (BA a plus)
*  Aviation experience a plus.

The successful candidate will also be detail oriented, have outgoing personality and enjoy providing services to internal and external customers. Some travel may be required

Machinist Trainee

This individual will be trained on the job to operate CNC machines in the aspect of manufacturing products in support of the aerospace industry. Training will include manufacturing and machine operations, problem solving, blueprint interpretation and quality control inspection techniques. Successful candidate should have a mechanical aptitude and good math skills with the desire to work with their hands. Fatigue Technology offers the latest manufacturing machines and manufacturing processes.

CNC Lathe Machinist

Fatigue Technology, a part of SPS Fastener Division of Precision Castparts Corp, is looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist. Must be capable of laying out any work, setting up and operating moderately complex machines to required tolerances and specifications. Capable of reading, interpreting and working from semi-complex drawings, prints and specifications as required. Must also be knowledgeable in general shop mathematics, G-codes, feed and speeds and have tools of the machinist trade. Two years of vocational training and 2 to 4 years experience on lathes.

Supervisor, Machine Shop

Fatigue Technology, an internationally known leader of aerospace fastening, bushing and fittings, is looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor in the Mills and Turning department. This position will report to the General Shop Manager. Duties include both production and manpower scheduling, ensuring the shop floor is supplied with material and tooling, monitoring production and part quality, and maintaining required documentation. The candidate will interact with the employees on the shop floor, as well as engineering, quality, and production control on a regular basis.

The individual will be accountable for daily production, productivity, and quality metrics (and troubleshooting any problems related to these metrics), as well as general housekeeping conditions (5S initiative), safety and any other FTI policies and improvement initiatives. The individual will also be responsible for staffing issues and coordinating training as necessary. Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary, and should have a “hands on” mentality. All FTI employees are also heavily cross-trained to assist elsewhere when necessary. Previous supervisory experience required. Minimum of 2 years vocational training and 5 years experience in a machine shop recommended.

Fatigue Technology, the world leader in fastener, bushing and fatigue life solutions, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for territory to include Oklahoma City, Kansas & Missouri. Knowledge of primary customer base within the region is a must. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 10 years experience in aviation industry. Expectations of regular customer interaction in order to sell and support our product line. Candidates shall posses a strong technical aptitude, good sales skills, strong project management, self-motivation, computer literate, strong presentation experience, and a good sales track record. A mechanical or aeronautical degree or aerospace structures background are preferred.
