Capable of laying out any work, setting up and operating moderately complex machines to required tolerances and specifications. Capable of reading, interpreting and working from semi-complex drawings, prints and specifications as required. Must be knowledgeable in general shop mathematics, G-codes, feed and speeds and have tools of the machinist trade. Two years of vocational training and 2 to 4 years experience on mills. Must be able to work day shift for 6 weeks for training prior to moving to the graveyard shift. .

Production Control Expeditor

This position will be responsible for maintaining status of parts throughout the shop and be able to discuss their location and priority. Must be computer literate, capable of working from blueprints or diagrams, be able to schedule specific production work for manufacturing, assemble jobs according to schedule dates and modify schedules as required. Must demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment, have good people skills, problem solving skills and capable of handling multiple tasks at a time. Must be able to work effectively under pressure, pay attention to detail, learn quickly and be willing to accept extra duties when required.

Technical Sales Support

This position is designed to support all of our customers and field sales teams with a primary contact for technical or commercial activity that may arise during the normal course of business. One of the primary objectives of this position is to manage the projects or programs for our customers and outside sales offices. In addition, the candidate will interface with in-house engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing personnel. The candidate must possess strong communication skills as they will be corresponding via telephone, e-mail, letters and in person. The candidate must be comfortable and confident when giving oral presentations and hands-on training to customer groups.

The successful candidate will have:
*  Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*  Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
*  Experience in MS Office.
*  Experience in Project Management software a plus
*  Sound decision-making skills.
*  AA Degree in Engineering or Business (BA a plus)
*  Aviation experience a plus.
The successful candidate will also be detail oriented, have outgoing personality and enjoy providing services to internal and external customers. Some travel may be required

Multi-Spindle Operator

Fatigue Technology Inc., a leading NW aerospace engineering and manufacturing company is looking for a Multi-Spindle Operator. Individual will be responsible for setting up and operating our (MS-52) and (M/S 25E) multi-spindle lathes. These lathes are high production close tolerance lathes with constant in process inspection. Individual will have an opportunity to work on all types of manual and CNC machines as production allows, and can advance into leadership roles with proven performance. Position requires 5 or more years experience on CNC and manual lathes, and at least 1-year experience on an Index lathe M/S 52, M/S 32, M/S 25 or equivalent. Must have a strong background with precision instruments, blue prints, and the ability to work in a high production machine center with excellent quality. Experience with SPC is a plus.

Associate Applications Engineer

BS degree in either Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 1-2 years experience required. The Applications Engineer will work to adapt FTI technology to provide solutions in actual applications on commercial and military aircraft. This position requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. It also requires ability to multi-task and strong project management skills as this position frequently has several projects open simultaneously. Some travel will be required. Must have mechanical aptitude and be proficient in Word and Excel. CAD and Aircraft structures experience desirable.

Senior Applications Engineer

Seeking an accomplished engineer with a broad range of experience and knowledge of aircraft design. A broad knowledge in design, analysis, certification and manufacturing of commercial or military aircraft is required. Specific knowledge of design and analysis for fatigue and damage tolerance is a strong plus. Desire a person with extensive relationships in the aerospace industry as well as active involvement in related associations. Should have experience writing and presenting papers at trade shows or technical conferences. Must be proficient with common computer aided design packages. Solid Works experience or Catia a plus. Must have BS in ME or AE.

Research Analyst/R&D Engineer

MS degree required, Ph.D. is preferred. Must have a strong background in fracture mechanics as it applies to fatigue with 2-3 years of practical experience or equivalent. Ideal candidate will have experience using ABAQUS FEA software to provide complex non-linear solutions. Have superior written and oral skills and the ability to communicate effectively to both lay and highly technical audiences. To be successful in this position you must be multi-task and project oriented in a team environment. Programming skills in Python and Fortran would be a plus.

Duties include preparing shipping documents, packaging materials, data entry, preparing incoming purchase orders for online receiving, tagging and identifying raw stock, performing online receiving, delivering incoming stock to the appropriate department, delivering and picking up parts. Must be able to read and interpret engineering documents. Minimum of 1-year experience in a production environment. Must have good math skills. Protoshop Machinist

Journey level machinist. The ideal candidate will be able to machine parts from drawings, assist in providing conceptual sketches of parts as needed, build fixtures for production, assist with tool and cutter selection for equipment, and provide input on design or function of prototype articles. Tool Crib Attendant

The main priorities for this position will be to purchase, issue and pre-set perishable tooling to the shop floor. This position will help establish and maintain safety stock inventory levels for perishable tooling. This position will also assist in overseeing shop supplies for multiple departments. Individual must be able to lift 30 lbs, handle multiple priorities, have excellent organization skills, interact well with other employees, and have a working knowledge of a personal computer. Individual with a machining background and 1 year previous experience in a tool crib would be beneficial.

Will work with purchase orders and Vantage software. This individual must have a minimum of three years purchasing experience in a Manufacturing environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills are of importance as are demonstrated cost savings initiatives. Must have the ability to negotiate with vendors for price, delivery and quality and act as a liaison between vendor and our Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales areas. Individual must be detail oriented and consistent. Follow-up and accurate/detailed record keeping of transactions and communications is important. Must be accurate with numbers on a keyboard. Candidates must have a business or technical degree.

Contracts Coordinator

Our contracts department is the primary contact for customer inquiries regarding product information, basic technical information and questions, availability and pricing. Duties include order entry, customer and satellite office support via phone/fax/email. Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, customer service and telephone etiquette skills are essential for success in this position. Also, the candidate must be detail and multi-task oriented, have a minimum of two years customer service experience with a good technical background and strong written and verbal communication skills. Both data entry (40% of the job) and word processing experience (tested) is required. Aerospace industry knowledge is a plus.

Material Handler/Assembler

Entry-level position in production control department.  Duties include reviewing of incoming raw material and documentation, maintaining material certification file, assigning storage locations, pulling and preparing bar stock and sleeve stock for use, recording inventory transactions on-line, driving forklift and distributing raw material and documentation to appropriate locations.  The individual must be computer literate, able to read blueprints and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  Good problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail are important.  Also be able to assemble tools/parts from written or oral instructions or blueprints and be able to trouble shoot assembly problems..

Fatigue Technology Inc., an internationally known leader of Aerospace fastening, bushing and fittings, is seeking a salesperson in the West (LA) Region.  This individual will work closely with our customers to sell and support our products.  Minimum qualifications are a strong technical aptitude, good sales skills, strong project management, self-motivation, computer literate, strong presentation experience, consistent visits to established accounts and strong cold calling skills.  The successful candidate must have a proven track record of selling technical products to Northrop Grumman, Boeing and the US Navy.  The territory encompasses CA, AZ, NM, NV and CO.  The qualified candidate will work out of their home.  Candidate must be prepared for significant travel to support the territory.  A mechanical or aeronautical engineering degree, aerospace structures background and home office experience are preferred.
