Business Development Manager, Northwest Region

Fatigue Technology, a part of the SPS Fastener Division of Precision Castparts Corp., and an internationally known leader of specialty products and tooling, is seeking a salesperson in the Northwest Region. This individual will work closely with our customers to sell and support our products. Minimum qualifications are a strong technical aptitude, good sales skills, strong project management, self-motivation, computer literate, strong presentation experience, consistent visits to established accounts and strong cold calling skills. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of selling technical products to Boeing Commercial, and experience in both Program Management and Business Development. The territory encompasses AK, HI, ID, MT, OR, WA, Alberta, and British Columbia. This person will be based out of FTI Headquarters in Seattle, WA. This position requires 40% travel to support the territory. A mechanical or aeronautical engineering degree, aerospace structures background and home office experience are preferred.

Inside Sales Manager

Fatigue Technology, a part of SPS Fastener Division of Precision Castparts Corp., is seeking an Inside Sales Manager (ISM). The ISM will assist the VP of Sales and Marketing with Program Management of key projects and growth initiatives, and the Development of aerospace quotation proposals and sales forecasts. The ISM will manage both the Customer Service Department and Inside Sales group. The ideal candidate will have 5 years previous inside sales or program management experience and an excellent technical background, preferably in aerospace. Previous experience in setting up and implementing customer service programs/procedures. Ability to motivate, coach and encourage employees to grow professionally, and to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment is very important. The ISM will be working with various departments closely such as contracts, engineering and production. We are looking for an individual who can remain calm under pressure and who doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves to help out when necessary.

Here are a few of the job responsibilities that this position handles on a daily basis:

• Helps manage sales aspects of various projects/programs that are working through qualification;
• Works with Inside Sales and Contracts on daily quotes; customer, product, and pricing strategies;
• Assists in developing LTA strategies in conjunction with VP of Sales & Marketing, VP of Commercial Sales, Contracts Manager and Business Development Managers;
• Evaluates the effectiveness of customer service operations and makes suggestions and implements approved changes.
• Assigns tasks and duties to staff. Coordinates technical and customer service activities to prevent duplications and increase communication between departments; • Develops short and long-range objectives, plans strategies for attainment, and develops performance objectives and standards for measuring progress in providing our customers with superior customer service;
• Schedules and organizes personnel to accommodate anticipated workflow to ensure same day response to our customers.

This position will be located in Seattle, WA, at FTI headquarters and reports directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing.

Multi-Spindle Operator

Fatigue Technology, a part of SPS Fastener Division of Precision Castparts Corp., is looking for a Multi-Spindle Operator. Individual will be responsible for setting up and operating our (MS-52) and (M/S 25E) multi-spindle lathes. These lathes are high production close tolerance lathes with constant in process inspection. Individual will have an opportunity to work on all types of manual and CNC machines as production allows, and can advance into leadership roles with proven performance. Position requires 5 or more years experience on CNC and manual lathes, and at least 1-year experience on an Index lathe M/S 52, M/S 32, M/S 25 or equivalent. Must have a strong background with precision instruments, blue prints, and the ability to work in a high production machine center with excellent quality. Experience with SPC is a plus.

Maintenance Technician, Supervisor

Fatigue Technology, a part of SPS Fastener Division of Precision Castparts Corp., is looking for a Maintenance Technician, Supervisor. The position is responsible for trouble shooting, preventive maintenance, mechanical checks, construction, installation, moving, repairing and maintenance of the machines at our facility. Previous experience working on CNC mill and lathe machines is required. Our facility runs primarily Index, Hurco, and Mori-Seiki CNC's. This position will supervise, direct and control the machine maintenance department within the required framework of schedules, cost control and quality standards. Individual will be responsible for personnel staffing-needs to ensure that work is produced in a prescribed time frame in accordance with company standards. Individual must have thorough knowledge of servicing/troubleshooting/repairing CNC mills and lathes and must have good understanding of electronics systems with ladder logic. Must have knowledge of machine schematics and control diagrams. Individual must be able to exert heavy physical effort and lift 20-50 lbs. Must have working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.

Duties include:
• Ordering parts and material for machine maintenance. • Ability to diagnose machine problems and repair machines including disassembly, part identification, ordering or fabricating and reassembly as necessary in a clean workmanlike manner. • Ability to operate all manual and power hand tools and electrical measuring instruments. • Knowledge of machine schematics and control diagrams. • Capable of working with little or no supervision. • Capable of working on keeping track of several projects at a time.

Education and Experience:
• 5+ years' experience needed. • High school diploma with documentation showing formal education in this field and four year apprenticeship program of Master Mechanics, or • Associates Degree in electronics from an accredited institution or equivalent with five years hands on experience of troubleshooting heavy duty industrial CNC machinery and controls, or • Combination of education and experience.

CNC Machinists

Fatigue Technology is an internationally known leader of aerospace fastenings, bushings and fittings and has been in the aerospace business for over 41 years. Our machinists work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility on modern CNC equipment. CNC candidates must be capable of laying out any work, setting up and operating moderately complex machines to required tolerances and specifications. Capable of reading, interpreting and working from semi-complex drawings, prints and specifications as required. Must also be knowledgeable in general shop mathematics, G-codes, feed and speeds and have tools of the machinist trade. Two years of vocational training and 2 to 4 years experience required.

Mechanically inclined individual needed for long-term assembly position. Must have good hand and eye coordination. Quality Assurance Inspector

Fatigue Technology (a PCC Company), an internationally known leader of aerospace fastening, bushing and fittings, is looking for a dimensional inspector for its manufacturing facility in Seattle, WA. This individual will be trained in all aspects of inspection. Experience of 1 to 2 years of close tolerance machining inspection, a strong mechanical ability, comfortable with reading blue prints, and the use of precision measurement instruments is preferred but not required. Must be detail orientated with a high degree of accuracy. Also, must be willing to work overtime as required.

Quality Engineer

Fatigue Technology, a part of SPS Fastener Division of Precision Castparts Corp, has an opening for a Quality Engineer with a BS degree and 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Also, a solid understanding of quality systems and its development, documentation, and implementation with respect to domestic and international standards is required. In addition, a strong statistical background is required. The successful candidate will be able to work in a collaborative environment with both internal and external customers.

Job responsibilities include maintaining and improving the effectiveness of the quality system, supporting root cause analysis of process and product problems, and integration of SPC and sampling techniques. Provide customer/vendor and management interface on quality, processes and reliability problems. The engineer will design and implement quality control process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques. Provide oversight and drive improvement of sampling, qualification, and lot procedures. Improve use and results of our SPC data collection.

• Enable oversight of quality systems by providing management with regular performance reports on key systems, including cost of quality, internal audit system, and contract review. Turn data into information by identifying issues and trends.

• Perform quality planning for new product implementations to proactively identify and eliminate potential problems.

• Manage the supplier quality system and perform supplier audits.

• Make recommendations and implement new inspection equipment and techniques.

• Take active role in writing and implementing corrective actions.

• Evaluate progress and results.

European Sales Manager

Fatigue Technology, a part of the SPS Fastener Division of Precision Castparts Corp. and an internationally known leader of aerospace fastenings, bushings and fittings is seeking a European Sales Manager. This individual will work closely with our customers to sell and support our products. This job will be based in Europe.

The role of the European Sales Manager is to drive profitable business growth for all FTI products through mainly 1) business planning; 2) managing the sales pipeline; 3) managing the sales process; 4) negotiating and closing sales; 5) defining marketing and support requirements and 6) setting up and managing sales channels.

Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must have a strong technical aptitude, excellent sales skills, strong project management, self-motivation, computer literate, strong presentation experience, and consistent visits to established accounts, cold calling, and the ability to speak German and English fluently, Spanish is a plus. This position requires up to 40% travel to support territory. A Mechanical or Aeronautical engineering degree, aerospace structures background, previous experience with customer base and satellite office experience are preferred. The satellite office is based out of your home. Other requirements include:

• Minimum 5 years sales and business planning track record.
• Work experience must include international sales experience.
• Proven ability to drive growth for a technical product sale.
• Great commercial and negotiating skills.

Individuals must have good business and personal judgment, be knowledgeable about internal customers and have the ability to motivate distributor sales.

• Good written/verbal communication, organizational and interpersonal skills essential. • Good analytical skills and ability to draw logical conclusions from a limited set of data. • Excellent computer skills and ability to analyze and manipulate data in MS Excel.
