Project Engineer

Fatigue Technology a part of the SPS Fastener Division of PCC, an internationally known leader in specialty product and tooling for the aerospace industry, is seeking an experienced project engineer to work in our Application Engineering and Production Support Group. A broad knowledge of fastener products, manufacturing technology including automation, tooling and die design and mechanical design/assembly and/or fastening systems required with knowledge of fastening systems applicable. Must be able to support Lean Manufacturing principles through the evaluation of key manufacturing processes, flow, and technologies to develop production and quality improvements. This would include the conceptualization, design and implementation of automated manufacturing techniques while soliciting and evaluating input via customers, industry experts, vendor/suppliers and publications. Applicant must be able to conduct prototyping efforts, run experiments, be multi-task and project oriented. Also need to be detailed in design and report writing to communicate ideas effectively. Successful candidate must be able to work in a close team environment and proficiency in common computer-aided design and Solid Works. BS in ME desirable although extensive experience in M&P Engineering in the Aerospace industry or related industries considered.

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

This key leadership position will be responsible for developing, executing and managing Fatigue Technology’s global marketing and sales plan to support the strategic goals and financial objectives. Core competencies required for this position are:
• Business Market Intelligence – comprehensive global knowledge and expertise.
• Sales Acumen – strong negotiation skills, salesmanship, and the ability to develop and maintain effective customer relationships.
•Technical aptitude. (Degree in Engineering preferred)
• Leadership – demonstrated professional level skills to positively motivate, overcome barriers, and act as champion / change agent for continuous organizational improvement and to establish accountability for meeting strategic objectives.
• Financial skills – comprehensive understanding of the inter-connectiveness of raw material pricing, principles of cash management and inventory practices and their affects on EBIT and profitability.

• Primary responsibilities of the position include:
• Lead and provide strategic direction for the company’s global sales and marketing operations.
• Create an annual and detailed quarterly sales plan consistent with the business unit plan (battle plan). Identify specific targets to staff and associates to achieve period sales and achieve business unit metrics.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategic plans and objectives to maintain business competitiveness and support for overall company financial goals and objectives.
• Responsible for establishing, maintaining and increasing market share for FTI products.
• Measure, monitor and report on key performance metrics.
• Maintain a comprehensive perspective and understanding of our markets, industry developments, customer concerns and economic conditions within which our business operates.
• Act as company ombudsman to promote the interests of the company to its customers, and the industry/markets which the company conducts its business.
• Analyze company sales reports, take action as necessary to achieve desired results.
• Oversee the professional development of the company’s sales department function and infra-structure, including the development of systems, staffing and training to optimize sales performance and to achieve strategic objectives.
• Conduct sales and marketing analysis. Prepare reports and make presentations to staff, corporate officials, customers and others as required to communicate and facilitate the interests of the company.
• Assure resolution of customer complaints, and sales or service issues.
• Work in conjunction with division to ensure goals and objectives of division are represented consistently and collaboratively.

Calibration & QA Inspector

We are looking for an individual in our QA Department to perform the following duties. Calibrate instruments to meet established conformance standards. Test instrument accuracy and make adjustments as necessary. Inspect product and documentation for specification conformance. High school diploma or its equivalent required. Also, requires 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, equipment, practices and procedures within this particular field and ability to use instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Machinist Trainee

This individual will be trained on the job to operate CNC machines in the aspect of manufacturing products in support of the aerospace industry. Training will include manufacturing and machine operations, problem solving, blueprint interpretation and quality control inspection techniques. Successful candidate should have a mechanical aptitude and good math skills with the desire to work with their hands. CNC Machinist – Operator A

Capable of laying out any work and setting up and operating any machine tools to exacting tolerances and limits. Can perform any job from start to finish without instructions, except in very unusual circumstances. Capable of reading, interpreting and working from all drawings, prints and specifications as required. Proficient in advanced mathematics, and has expert knowledge regarding material characteristic and all machines, processes and tools of the machinist trade. Work under minimal supervision. Capable of instructing and assisting lower classified employees in assembly, bench work installations, inspection and layout and which require journey level skills. Also, perform other duties that maybe assigned. Two years of vocational training and 5 years equivalent experience or completed a machinist or tool and die apprenticeship.

The successful candidate must have a proven track record of selling technical products to Northrop Grumman, Boeing and the US Navy. The territory encompasses CA, AZ, NM, NV and CO. The qualified candidate will work out of their home. Candidate must be prepared for significant travel to support the territory. A mechanical or aeronautical engineering degree, aerospace structures background and home office experience are preferred.
